The error is"A service installation section in this INF is invalid." Perhaps manual editing of the INF will work. IF you have played with your system like me trying to get this to work you may have to insert the Carelink USB device into another USB port for it to be recognized correctly I had it happen on one of my 3 Win7 boxes. UAC is a pain sometimes, Click on "Start Menu", All Programs, Right Click on IE and click Run As Administrator UAC should pop up and ask you are you sure, click yes, no browse to the carelink website and click through the steps. With ALL web browsers closed, browse to the path C:\Users\username \ find the folder Medtronic and delete it. Usb ensures that blood sugar values read by PC. I can not install usb Care Link (from Medtronic).
